The place
The General is going into an old main-street building in the centre of Parkes: brick arches, a pressed-metal ceiling, deep red walls, and a row of timber windows onto Clarinda Street.
It is built for mornings. A short menu, made properly, handed over the counter without a wait. Take it with you, or stand at the window and watch the street wake up.
Work with us
We are putting a team together.
We open in January and we are looking for front of house, baristas and a manager. Experience is welcome but not essential.
